Research

On Dec. 1, 2007, Larry F. Lemanski, Ph.D., the vice president for research at Florida Atlantic University (FAU) in Boca Raton, Fla., was named Temple's senior vice president for research and strategic initiatives.

Lemanski will oversee all aspects of Temple's research enterprise, including:

• administration of sponsored research
• technology transfer and commercialization of the university's intellectual property
• research infrastructure, including laboratories and other facilities
• partnerships with business and other organizations
• compliance with federal, state and university research regulations at all 17 of Temple's schools and colleges and more than a dozen interdisciplinary research centers and institutes
